2022 marked 40 years since the world was introduced to the little alien visitor in Steven Spielberg’s feature film E.T. the Extraterrestrial.

That also means that it has been that long since I had the privilege of being asked by Simon & Schuster to illustrate several books for young readers about everyone’s favorite new visitor from outer space.
In celebration of the addition of this wonderful little guy to our lexicon of favorite movie characters, I selected 40 of my favorite E.T. book illustrations for a special tribute on Facebook. I had so much fun with my 40 images for the 40th Anniversary that I decided to add this page to my website.
